You don't need to be a horse trainer to make a difference. You don't even need horse experience! We're happy to have volunteers with different backgrounds and skill levels join us on our quest to help healthy horses find solid, caring homes.
Different ways to help include:
Organize a fundraiser (or just help with one!): From car washes to tack sales to horse shows, there are many ways to put a few dollars in the bank to care for the horses, and most require nothing more than a willing heart and hands.
Public Relations: If you're good at public speaking or putting together promotional packets, we need you! Good publicity is always helpful, and we'd love if you'd join our team!
Foster A Horse: We make every attempt to cover expenses of horses while they're in foster homes. Fosters must not have been convicted of animal abuse, and must submit an application with 2 references to be considered. Appropriate shelter and turn out is required. While we do not expect you to train a horse while it is with you, having a solid grasp on how to maintain boundaries and promote good ground manners is a definite plus!
